NSW Construction Induction (White card)

Registration details: WorkCover accredited training. WorkCover accredited independent trainers contract this course.

Course Purpose: This course is suitable for individuals to gain confidence to work safely, understand safety signs, knowledge of first aid and requirements, personal protective equipment and safe operating systems and equipment.

Course Format: 5 hours

Course Assessment: To prove competency the participant must attend all sections of the course and complete a multi-choice theoretical assessment

Qualification Issued: Statement of one-month duration of attendance followed by a plastic card direct from WorkCover allowing immediate access onto construction sites for employment.

Legislative Qualifications: Any employment on or in a construction site requires this qualification.

Certification: A4 display certificate valid for one month followed with a plastic card. This is a life long qualification unless away from the construction industry for more than two years.

Pre-Requisites - Proof of identity: WorkCover requires that you produce proof of identity at the course, in order for you to be awarded a Construction Induction card. If you do not produce these at the course, you will not be awarded the white card. Please enquire for more information.

CPD Points: This course carries 20 points for the Continuing Professional Development Program (NSW)
