Epi-Pen Training
Registration Details: Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB) Registered Training Organisation number 90909 and ABN 63 114 756 857.
Course Purpose: To allow the Student to gain the confidence required when dealing with an adult or child casualty, when the application of an Epi-pen is required. Teaches the knowledge and skills required to safely use the Epi-pen.
Course Format: 1 hour face-to-face Training.
Course Assessment: At the completion of the course participants must demonstrate competency.
CPD Points: This course carries 2 points for Continuing Professional Development Program (NSW).
Qualification Issued: Epi-pen Training. Statement of attendance (Adapted from Apply Basic First Aid HLTFA301B).
Certification: A4 display certificate plus a plastic wallet card valid for one year from date of issue.
Target Audience: Any person requiring training to learnt o assess anaphylaxis and administer the Epi-pen.
Standards: The course complies with policy advice from the Australian Resuscitation Council.
