Follow defined occupational health and safety polices and procedures

Course purpose:  This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organisations and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make them confident and competent to follow OH&S policies and procedures. This includes but is not limited to the following components -
- Follow workplace procedures for hazard identification and risk control
- Contribute to participative arrangements for the management of OH&S 

Course Format: Face-to-Face Delivery for the duration of the course. The length of this course is nominal however an initial duration of 15 hours is required.

Course Assessment: At the completion of the course participants must demonstrate competency in performance of following OH&S policies and procedures. A short written assessment will measure competence in each element and verifies the participant has an underpinning knowledge in the complete unit of competence.

Qualification issued:  Statement of attainment – Follow Defined OH&S Policies and Procedures PUAOHS001B in partial completion of Certificate II in Public Safety (Police Liaison) PUA20300

Certification: A4 display certificate plus a plastic wallet card

Pre-requisites:   No pre-requisite or co-requisites.

Target audience: This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organisations, for anyone requiring add on OH&S training in line with this competency, especially relevant for employment opportunities such as Police, Fire and SES personnel.
