Introduction
Wollongong First Aid is a Wollongong based company specialising in First Aid Training not just in the Illawarra but around Australia. Since 2000 we have been providing quality training to all variety of industry and organisations.

Wollongong First Aid delivers nationally recognised and accredited training under commercial partnership with Allens Training (RTO # 90909). 

Wollongong First Aid employs instructors that not only know the theory behind what they are teaching but bring a realistic approach to the application of first aid. Using practical, proven techniques that have been developed with many years of “on-the-job” experience, our instructors are eager to impart their knowledge to you.

Our trainers are Ambulance Paramedics, Nurses and Doctors, professionals that specialise in pre-hospital emergency care, but are also able to deliver training that is fun, interactive and most importantly, provide information that is useful in the real world.
 
We place a great deal of emphasis on Competency Based Instruction and Assessment: actually performing the skills rather than simply reading about them and passing a written test.

1. First Aid Training Services

1. Delivery of First Aid Training including all first aid, OH&S courses and recertification of those courses.
2. Tailoring of courses specifically for client requirements.
3. All administrative functions including record keeping, issuing of certificates and reminder notifications.

2. First Aid Kit Supply and Servicing

• As authorised resellers for Trafalgar First Aid we can deliver compliant first aid kits and supplies, including complete first aid room fit-outs.
• Wollongong First Aid can provide a first aid kit checking and restocking service on a regular basis, weekly, monthly or on demand.

3. Advanced Medical Equipment and Supplies

Wollongong First Aid can supply oxygen administration kits, automated external defibrillators, spinal equipment and safety supplies at competitive prices.

4. Incident Debrief Services 

Wollongong First Aid can supply an on-demand incident debrief service in-conjunction with current employee assistance providers or as an independent service. Our on-call our staff can offer an informal debrief for any minor or major incident that your employees may be involved with.

We understand how important it is to know that what you have done in an emergency has been the best you can do. We are happy to debrief on an individual or group basis. 

With a FREECALL number and 24 hour availability your staff will feel comfortable knowing they can rely on us when needed.

5. “First Aid Ready” Assessments 

Wollongong First Aid is able to deliver our “First Aid Ready” Assessment of any of your worksites. These are conducted to ensure you are meeting all current legislative requirements and industry best practice

When performing the assessment of first aid requirements of a workplace, we will take into consideration a number of factors. These include the size, layout and location of the workplace, the number and distribution of employees, work arrangements, industry-specific hazards, known occurrences of accidents or illnesses, and the distance from the nearest medical service.

Wollongong First Aid provides first aid assessments which are compliant with State and Territory legislation and can also train personnel for industry-specific first aid.
