Whitecard - Queensland and Western Australia Construction Induction
Entry Requirements
THIS ONLINE COURSE CAN ONLY BE COMPLETED IF YOU LIVE IN QUEESLAND OR WESTERN AUSTRALIA (YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SUPPLY A RESIDNETIAL ADDRESS IN ONE OF THESE STATES) AND YOU MUST BE COMPLETING THE ASSESSMENT IN EITHER QUEENSLAND OR WESTERN AUSTRALIA
- The online White card course is a comprehensive alternative to completing the face to face classroom course. This course must only be attempted by participants who work or reside in Queensland or Western Australia.
- The course has been divided up, so that you can finish one part, and continue with the next at a later date. The course is designed to be a "Pay If You Pass" course which means that you will have unlimited attempts to do the course and only pay once you have successfully completed the course.
When Creating an Account
- When creating a password we suggest using something that you should not be able to forget eg middle name or telephone number
- If you forget your password there is a "help me log in" button. You will need to enter either your username or your email address to reset your password.
- After creating an ccount you will be sent an email with a link that you need to click to activate your account. If you do not receive the email, check your junk mail folder and check with your system administrator that the email has not been blocked by the firewall or spam trap. You may have to ask your administrator to 'whitelist' our domain. This is particularly relevant if your email is from a school or government department.
Troublshooting
- If you are having issues with the on line program, shut the progam down and reopen it again and this will generally solve most computer issues.
- Some browsers eg Google Chrome and Opera may have issues with this program. We strongly recommend that you use an alternative browser to complete this program eg Internet Explorer, Firefox etc.
- If you are still experiencing problems there is email support available. This support is available during business hours and can be accessed by emailing online@allenstraining.com.au
What to do when you finish the workbook
- Once you have completed the course please ensure that you have a printer connected to your computer as you must print out an online completion certificate.
- You must also print out and complete the "Payment Details" form, "Student Details" form & "Whitecard Declaration".
- You are also required to submit certified "Proof of Identity" documents
- You need to submit all documents listed on the "Course Completion Checklist" in order to be awarded your Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment and your "Whitecard".

How do I start?
- To begin the online workbook please click on the link below.
- Once you click on the link you will be diverted to log in page that will require you to create a new acount, or will enable you to continue your workbook if you have already created an account.
- When you enter the site you will see a list of course categories. Select "Workplace Health & Safety" from the category list
- You will then need to select the "Construction Induction - QLD & WA Only Online Course" from the course list.

Students who have started a workbook prior to 11th January 2012
This course has recently been upgraded. For students who have created an account prior to the 11th January 2011 and who have already commenced the course, we have arranged for you to have access to the old site in order to finish your training.
This access will not be available after 12pm on Wednesday the 11th Janaury 2012.
