Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is Australia’s largest professional general practice organisation and represents all registered urban and rural general practitioners. The RACGP’s mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of all people in Australia by supporting GPs, general practice registrars and medical students through its principal activities of education, training and research and by evaluating and supporting the development of doctors’ skills and knowledge. Allens Training is now had the following courses accredited by RACGP for Professional Development points:
- HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (5 Category 2 Points).
As a result of this, the CPR training that is delivered by Allens Training, or our Partners, to General Practitioners can be recognised as professional development that can contribute towards their CPD points. General Practitioners must be registered with RACGP to receive this recognition. This training activity equates to 5 category 2 points.
Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (ACRRM)
Allen’s Training has now had the following courses accredited by the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (ACRRM) for Professional Development points:
- HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Aid (10 Basic Life Support Points + 10 Emergency Medicine MOPS Points)
- HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (10 Basic Life Support Points + 10 Emergency Medicine MOPS Points)
- HLTAID007 Provide Advanced Resuscitation (10 Basic Life Support points, 4 PRPD points + 14 Emergency Medicine MOPS Points)
The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine is accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) for setting professional medical standards for training, assessment, certification and continuing professional development in the specialty of general practice. They also play an important role in supporting junior doctors and medical students considering a career in rural medicine.
This means that any of the above training courses you complete as a General Practitioner (registered with ACRRM) are recognised as Professional Development and you can use this training to contribute towards your formal CPD requirements for medical registration.

Traffic Controller Training and Accreditation
Allens Training is an approved traffic control training provider under the Queensland Traffic Controller Scheme.
Allens Training offers the following course - RIIWHS205D - Approved Traffic Controller Training, which is aimed at persons requiring accreditation by the department to control traffic in accordance with the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices Part 3 (MUTCD) and the Traffic Controller Accreditation Scheme Approved Procedure
It is a prerequisite that new and renewing accredited traffic controllers complete a Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads approved traffic controller training course.
