Wednesday 18 October 11:34 AM

Allens Training will shortly launch the new White Card Course, CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry. This course will replace CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry.

The new course will be available from 21 October 2017, and can be accessed via the Allens Training website here.

What is different about the new Online White Card course?

Many components of the course remain the same. However, the new course includes updated assessment requirements, which mandate that the assessment of performance evidence be done by direct observation of the learner by an assessor, either by observing the learner physically, or by observing the learner via audio and visual media in real time.

In particular, you will be assessed on correctly fitting PPE including a hard hat, eye protection/safety glasses, high visibility clothing, and hearing protection (ear plugs/muffs). If you don’t have PPE, don’t worry we can send you a kit (for training purposes only) for a small fee.

We will simply assess you via your mobile device or computer fitting your PPE.

You can view the full assessment requirements on the Training.gov website here.

As a result of the extra assessment requirements, the cost of the new course will be $69.

The great news is that this new course - can still be completed 100% online, uses our latest online software that ensures you can quickly and simply get your White Card, and incorporate the same flexibility for working at your own pace as the current online course.

We have no doubt you will find getting your White Card a stress free and simple process.
