Continuing Professional Development for GP's

We are happy to announce that Allens Training have successfully registered with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and have been approved for HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & HLTCPR211A Perform CPR for the 2014-2016 triennium.

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners is Australia’s largest professional general practice organisation and represents urban and rural general practitioners. The RACGP’s mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of all people in Australia by supporting GPs, general practice registrars and medical students through its principal activities of education, training and research and by assessing doctors’ skills and knowledge.
This means the CPR training that is delivered by our Partners and Allens Training to General Practitioners (registered with RACGP) is recognised as professional development and they can use this training to contribute towards their CPD points they are required to obtain throughout the triennium to meet their formal requirements of their medical registration.
This activity is only relevant to General Practitioners who are registered with RACGP and the training activity equates to 5 category 2 points.
To record this training we require the client, to complete an attendance sheet which captures their QI&CPD number as well as an additional evaluation form and submit the extra documentation along with the rest of course paperwork. We also the client to place a comment in the course comments section at the time of data entry, to assist with Certificate Production  who will record the training promptly with RACGP.
