How do you manage your workplace first aid services and resources?
Tuesday 28 June 9:53 AM
Do you know what is involved in establishing, maintaining and facilitating the provision of appropriate first aid in the workplace, and are you aware there is a regulatory requirement for this?
Can you identify workplace hazards, assess risks and use this information to determine first aid resource requirements for your workplace?
Are you able to develop first aid action plans and risk minimisation strategies to address your workplace requirements?
If you can’t answer ’Yes’ to all these questions, consider undertaking the HLTAID008 Manage first aid services and resources course.
You will develop the skills listed above during this course, as well as learning how to establish and maintain first aid facilities in the workplace. Also covered is recording, documenting and communicating requirements for ensuring your organisation meets its legislative requirements.
Just as important to manage the provision of first aid in your workplace is the evaluation and review of your processes, performance, equipment and workplace policies and procedures. Strategies for undertaking these tasks are included in this program.
If you have an interest in this area, or are in a nominated occupational first aid or management role, don’t miss your chance to become further qualified.
On Saturday 9 July, Allens Training is running this course in our Training Centre in Birtinya on the Sunshine Coast.
