Target audience:
This qualification suits rescue officers employed at mining sites or similar workplaces that require workers trained in advance rescue techniques.
Target job titles may include:
- Emergency Rescue Team member (ERT)
- Rescue officers
- Paramedic/rescue
Typically students/clients will have 2+ years’ experience in mining activities. As this qualification is delivered in the workplace it is critical that a client holds a current permanent position and is available to leave the workplace for training purposes. This training is not suitable for novice employees looking to enter a workforce as a rescue officer.
