LV Panel & CPR (UETTDRRF06B & HLTAID001) skills set
Information about the course:
This course requires students to successfully complete 2 units of competency. Student must successfully meet all criteria for both units to be deemed competent. Please refer to course information located under tabs for each of the individual units for details regarding the units listed below:
Those who are required to provide an emergency first aid response in a workplace.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for:
- UETTDRRF06B Perform rescue from a live LV panel
- HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Face to Face: 4 hours face to face training
- Mixed Mode: Completion pre-course study plus 3.5 hours practical training
- Refresher: Completion pre-course study plus 3.5 hours practical training
Industry standards for refresher training vary from state to state. Most states recommend refresher training for this unit every 12 months.
Important information regarding course durations:
Course durations, as mentioned above, are reflective of group sizes of between 4 and 15 participants. If there are less students in a group, you may find course duration reduced by a maximum of 10%. If a class size exceeds 15 participants it may therefore also be necessary to increase course duration depending on the number of participants.

There are a number of different options for completing the pre-course study;
- Online training
- Hard copy coloured workbook
The pre course study includes 30 multi choice questions. You must take the completed paper, or online print out, with you to the training course.

The Australian Skills and Qualification Authority (ASQA) requires that students be aware of their rights and responsibilities once they have selected their training provider. By enrolling into any of our courses you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions outlined in our Student Agreement .
